What this site is not

We do not do plumbing work, employ plumbers, subcontract to them, or take a fee for passing you to one. We are a directory. If something goes wrong with work you book, your agreement is with that business and not with us.

No listing here has been inspected. We have not verified workmanship, insurance, tax compliance, PIRB or IOPSA registration, or whether a business is trading at all. A high position means a strong public review record and nothing else. Check credentials yourself before work starts, and ask for a registration number rather than taking “registered” on trust.

Names, phone numbers, addresses, trading hours, ratings and review counts are taken from public Google Business Profiles. Businesses close, move, change numbers and stop answering. Everything here should be treated as a starting point to confirm, not a fact to rely on. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix it free.

Listings are ordered by a weighted score built from Google review count and rating, published in full on how we rank. It is our calculation, not an official or independent ranking, and it does not measure quality of work, price or compliance. Featured placements are paid, appear above the ordered list, and are always labelled.

When a listing says a 24-hour claim is confirmed, that means the business says so in two places, its Google profile and its own website. We have not phoned anyone at 3am. Of 3 651 listings, 38 publish a PIRB or IOPSA number and 29 publish a price; we report those as published, and have not checked either against a register.

Any price, count or municipal fact on this site was accurate when we collected it and may not be now. Callout fees change, municipalities change, and our figures are refreshed periodically rather than continuously. Confirm anything that matters directly with the business.

Links to plumber websites carry nofollow, and paid placements additionally carry sponsored. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their security or anything you agree to on them.

Guidance on this site about geysers, drains, compliance certificates or gas work is general background, written to help you ask better questions. It is not a substitute for a qualified plumber looking at your actual installation. Gas and certificate work is legally restricted; use someone registered.
