Featured terms

Plumber Near Me (plumbernearme.co.za) is run by Gen1 Media (Pty) Ltd. These terms apply to every business that signs up for Featured placement. They are version 27 October 2026. Nothing in them takes away a right the law gives you.

1. What Featured includes

• Top of your town's page, above the ordered list and labelled Featured. Never more than 3 businesses.
• The same spot on up to 3 nearby suburbs you choose.
• Your own page on Plumber Near Me, with your prices, areas and hours, that can come up when people search for your business by name.
• Your logo and up to 3 photos of your work on your card and your page, chosen by you. Free listings show whatever picture Google has.
• Quote requests straight to your WhatsApp. The customer's message lands in your chat, with nothing in between and no fee per lead.
• We run Google ads for your own town's page, so the people who click through see you at the top.
• Founding price: R299 a month, fixed for your first 12 months. Cancel whenever you like, and you stay featured to the end of the month you paid for.

2. Price and billing

R299 a month, charged through PayFast on the day you sign up and on the same day each month after that, until you cancel. Gen1 Media is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT on top.

3. Founding price

Businesses that sign up under this version of the terms keep the price they signed up at for their first 12 months, whatever happens to prices for new subscribers.

4. Price changes

Prices are set per town and can change as demand changes, so a busy town may cost more than a quiet one. After your first 12 months, if your price is going up, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then and pay nothing more.

5. Changes to how Featured works

As the site grows, and to keep it useful for people looking for a plumber, we may change how Featured businesses and nearby suburbs are shown, how many Featured spots a town or suburb has, and what the package includes. If a change reduces what you get, we will email you at least 30 days before it happens, and you can cancel before then.

6. Advertising

We run Google ads for the page of the town your business is based in. That is your own town only, not the nearby suburbs you add. How much we spend, and on which searches, is up to us. We do not promise any number of visits, calls, quote requests or jobs.

7. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel at any time by emailing hello@plumbernearme.co.za or from your PayFast account. You stay featured to the end of the month you have paid for, and there is no refund for the rest of that month.

Changed your mind? Tell us within 5 business days of first signing up and we will refund that first payment in full.

8. What Featured does not buy

A higher place in the ordered list, any badge, or our endorsement. Featured businesses are always labelled as paid. We have not inspected your work, and we tell visitors so. How the list is ordered

9. Your listing and your customers

You confirm that you own or run the business you are featuring, and that what you tell us about it is true. Calls and quote requests go straight to you: the job, the price and anything that goes wrong with it are between you and your customer. We are not part of it.

10. When we can end it

If a listing turns out not to be yours, carries misleading details, or the business has closed, we can end Featured and refund the unused part of the current month.
